Ever since I can remember I have loved taking pictures---of people, places, and things. Wherever I go, I'm usually the one stopping to look at the scenery, lingering behind, pulling out my camera (or phone), and then yelling "hey wait for me"! From the days of disposable cameras galore, my black and orange camera with strangely shaped film, getting a green polaroid as a gift (that I still have), my first digital point and shoot, making a pinhole camera in my photography class as a senior in high school, the good ole iPhone camera, to borrowing my mom's dslr, to now having my own--a camera is something I have always loved, wanted, and I might say needed!
While memories are special, sometimes they fade with time. But pictures--they help capture those colors, moments, people, and places, and that's what I love about it. All of the pictures I've taken, they are like the journal of my life but without any words. After all, "a picture is worth a thousand words."
